Best of Six Central European Countries Tour

Get the most out of your Eurotrip and visit up to 6 different Central European countries – Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. In each of these countries, you will visit capital city and some of Europe’s most gorgeous historic places such as medieval town centers, castles, palaces, fortresses, natural wonders…), many of which are UNESCO-protected world cultural heritage sites.

On your way through the Central European countries, you will have the unique chance to see places which have been hidden from western tourists to see. Now, it is time for you to be among the first to discover these magnificent places.

The Best of Six Countries Tour is generally opened to tourists from March to October. The date of arrival and the date of departure is solely up to the Client. You decide when you want to have your vacation. Come when you like. CE-Tours and our guides are at your service.

For this tour, the optimum length of the tour is 16 days. Of course, you may reduce or extend your stay any way you want it. Day 1: Arrival

You will be picked up by our guide at the airport and transported to your hotel. When ready, you will be given basic information about the tour and your upcoming trips.

Day 2: Prague

You will visit the Prague Castle, the world’s largest ancient castle, and Castle District. From the Castle, you will have the chance to admire the city panoramas. You will also have the opportunity to walk down the Golden Lane – a street full of tiny cottages and houses which once housed castle archers and world-known Czech-Jewish writer Franz Kafka. On the way back to the centre, you will walk through the city district called Malá Strana. Here, with its Renaissance palaces and Baroque St Nicholas Church. After crossing Charles Bridge, you will enter the Old Town (UNESCO) which its famous Astronomical Clock.

Day 3: Berlin

From Prague, you will be taken to Germany. On your way to Berlin, you will make a 2-hour stop in Dresden which has been almost destroyed during WW2. In the late afternoon, you will arrive in Berlin. Here, you will have the chance to visit its city centre, including the Museum Island.

Day 4: Poznań and Warsaw

From Berlin, you will carry on to Polish Poznań – famous for its colorful houses. In late afternoon, you will arrive to Warsaw, the capital city of Poland.

Day 5: Warsaw and Kraków

From Warsaw, your tour will continue to UNESCO city of Kraków. You will visit its castle and historic city centre.

Day 6: Tatra Mountains and Wooden Churches

From Poland, you will continue to Slovakia. Crossing Slovakia will be exciting, especially for those who love nature, as the tour leads from mighty Tatra Mountains. Here, you will make a short stop to admire UNESCO-protected wooden churches.

Day 7: Tokaj Region and Budapest

In the morning, you will cross the border with Hungary and enter the famous wine area of Tokaj (UNESCO). In the evening, you will arrive to Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.

Day 8-9: Budapest

In two days in Budapest, you will visit the Buda Castle, the Hungarian Parliament, the Grand Market, and magnificent spa baths.

Day 10: Bratislava and Vienna

The next stop will be Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. After a short stop, you will continue to Vienna, the capital of Austria. Here, you will see St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Karlsplatz and its imposing baroque church Karlskirche.

Day 10: Vienna

In the morning, you will visit Belvedere; in the afternoon, you will admire the Hapsburg’s summer residence of Schloss Schönbrunn and its vast gardens.

Day 11: Salzburg

You will arrive to Salzburg in the afternoon, just about the right time to explore the famous castle hill. In Budapest, you will visit the Buda Castle, the Hungarian Parliament, the Grand Market, and magnificent spa baths.

Day 12: Český Krumlov

No tourist visiting the Czech Republic should miss the glorious Český Krumlov. Many tourists come here every year to admire renaissance architecture of the local castle, richly decorated coats of arms of burghers houses and the river bank of Vltava.

Day 13: Prague

Back in Prague, you may either decide to explore the city, or to accept our invitation for a trip to famous Karlštejn, a large Gothic castle founded in 1348 by Charles IV, the Holy Roman Emperor.

Day 14: Departure

You will be transported back to the Prague Airport and, if necessary, provided with assistance with check-in.
